Working at plant sales and other fundraising activities can reduce individual costs. Speak to Mr. Friedlander for details.

Information for Parents:

 

Please do not let finances prevent your child from attending. If payment in full is not possible, partial payment and an agreement to work in the greenhouse over the summer is an alternative. Please speak with Mr. Friedlander directly to make arrangements.

 

Official dress is required for all students. If your child does not own an Official FFA jacket, there are 3 possibilities:

  1. Purchase a jacket at https://shopffa.org

  2. Receive a free jacket if finances require through the “Gift of Blue” program

  1. Borrow one from the chapter set - sizes are limited, first come, first serve.

 

What To Bring To Camp:

  • Clothing appropriate for leadership camp

    • Athletic apparel and casual apparel is recommended

  • Official Dress is required for some leadership activities such as Opening and Closing Ceremony, Flag Raising and Lowering, final rounds of leadership contest, etc.)

    • Official FFA Jacket

        • Purchase, Gift of Blue, or borrow one from the chapter

      • Official FFA tie or scarf

      • Black slacks or skirt

      • Black close-toed dress shoes

      • White dress shirt/blouse

      • Black hosiery (ladies only!!)

  • Extra shoes/sandals

  • Swimsuit (One Piece is mandatory) and Towel

  • Sunscreen

  • Bag for dirty clothes

  • Flashlight

  • Rain Gear

  • Bug Spray

  • Personal Grooming Items

  • Soap and Shampoo

  • Linens/Sleeping Bag/Blanket/Pillow

  • Towels/Washcloths

  • Musical Instruments, Props for Talent Act (optional)

  • Cell phone & charger

  • Money for drink machine located at Pool House and Gym ($1.00 ea.)

  • Snacks on sale at Administration Building ($1.00 ea.)

  • Sports Equipment 

  • (the Camp provides all necessary equipment but if you want to use your own you are welcome to do so)

  • Fishing rod/Tackle

  • Snacks & drinks

  • Alarm Clock

  • A Positive Attitude to Learn, Lead, Serve, Have Fun, and Make Friends!
